Well, here you have it all in one plant!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both the English name and the specific epithet <em>triquetrum<\/em><em> <\/em>refer to the three-cornered shape of the flower stalks. A cross-section looks like a three-corner star, fragile and perfect (you can see it in the photo \u2013 three-cornered leek is the one with white flowers and fleshy stems).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All parts of the plant, from the bulb to the flowers, are edible fresh or cooked. The flavour is a mix of spring onion and garlic, but more subtle. Use it in pestos, soups, stews; pickle or ferment the bulbs and the stalks.
